The big house hunt. Part I

Back in December, Joe and I decided to pop over to some model houses over in Tanner Plantation on Saturday, just for the heck of it. You know how much I love houses (always have), so I was thrilled for the opportunity.

We looked at 2 houses by KB homes, a very large 2 story home with formal living room and a moderately sized 1 story home. While we liked some things about the houses, they didn't feel like "home" if you know what I'm saying. The open floorplan of the 1 story (which is what we are really looking for) was just too open for Joe.

We then decided to look at some Centex homes in nearby Liberty Hall Plantation. These we liked a lot more. The 1 story plan was spacious, not too open, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a dining room. Not too much, not too little. The 2nd house they had was over 3000 square feet, which was really cool, but seriously, you would need 6 people to fill that house. We kept getting lost in all of the hallways!

You might remember some of these pictures from a previous post. This is where it all began people!
